WWE RAW 9/2/24 Review

WWE RAW 9/2/24 REVIEW First Raw after Bash in Berlin and First Raw on the road to Bad Blood Rhea Ripley opens the show with a promo Following her and Damian Priests win at Bash in Berlin, Rhea tries to cut a promo but is interrupted by her ex, Dominik Mysterio. They go back and forth until Liv Morgan sneak attacks Ripley and continues the assault even after Ripley is hanging on the ropes and injures her. It looks like we are headed towards Ripley vs Morgan at Bad Blood for the Women's World Championship. That match might be a bit hard to predict. American Made vs Alpha Academy The battle between Chad Gable former group against his current group. American Made is essentially two things, Alpha Academy but way more serious and better in the ring, or Diamond mine if you replace Roderick Strong with Chad Gable. (I still think it's injustice that Roderick Strong never made it to the main roster) Surprisingly, Alpha Academy held their ground for a bit until American Made eventually ...

NXT No Mercy 2024 (REVIEW)

NXT No Mercy 2024 Review NXT Tag Team Championship match: Chase U (c) vs Nathan Fraser and Axiom The show kicked off with a great tag team match between Fraxiom (as what twitter calls em) and the team of Andre Chase and Ridge Holland representing Chase U. The highlight was seeing Andre Chase of all people hitting a spanish fly off the top rope. That was completely out of the blue. Despite my prediction of Chase U retaining, Axiom and Fraser took the win and regained their NXT Tag team titles. After the match, Ridge Holland attacked his Chase U stable mates and put Andre Chase through the table, sending him to a local medical fecility.  Nathan Fraser and Axiom win to become the NEW NXT Tag Team Champions I still think the Fraser and Axiom should split and become singles stars. It was teased for weeks and it would've been nice to see Holland continue his redemption arc and maybe even get a shot at the NXT title with Chase U by his side. But now he drops out of Chase University...

WWE BASH IN BERLIN 2024 REVIEW

WWE BASH IN BERLIN 2024 (REVIEW) Undisputed WWE Championship Match: Cody Rhodes (c) vs Kevin Owens The show kicked off with a bang as Cody defended the WWE championship against Kevin Owens. Going into the match, Cody had a knee injury (which I'm not sure is kayfabe injury or real) and Kevin tried to get the match called off but Cody ensured him he was fine. The knee injury got to Cody as he was going for a top rope Cody cutter but his knee gave out and K.O was hesitant to continue with the match. Cody again ensured him that he was fine and it continued. K.O was looking for an Apron Powerbomb which he used quite frequently to injure wrestlers when he was a heel, but he didn't pull the trigger. All throughout the match, Owens was very hesitant to target Cody's knee and eventually his hesitation would cost him as Cody won the match. Following the bell, the pair shared a hug to establish that they still are friends following the match. CODY RHODES RETAINS THE UNDISPUTED WWE C...

SMACKDOWN 8/30/24 REVIEW

SMACKDOWN 8/30/24 REVIEW LAST SMACKDOWN BEFORE BASH IN BERLIN LA KNIGHT U.S CHAMPIONSHIP OPEN CHALLENGE - ACCEPTED BY GERMANY'S VERY OWN, LUDWIG KAISER This was a pretty good match. When this open challenge was announced last week for this Smackdown in Berlin, Germany, I was fully expecting Ilja Dragunov to be the one to accept because when Gunther won the World Heavyweight title, I thought Ilja Dragunov would be the won to challenge him for the title at Bash in Berlin, since he is half German and the matches between those two are all time classics. However, Randy Orton is facing Gunther and Ilja's not on the PLE card, but alas he wasn't at all in any of the Berlin televised shows. Kaiser put up a good fight but it was obvious Knight wouldn't lose the U.S. title this early. L.A. Knight defeats Ludwig Kaiser to retain the U.S. Championship. Apollo Crews and Baron Corbin vs Los Garza Legado del Fantasma is getting tiring. I don't think ANYTHING can save this group f...

LET'S TALK NXT NO MERCY 2024

LET'S TALK NXT NO MERCY 2024 So I decided that instead of reviewing last nights episode of NXT, I might be better off just talking about No mercy since this was the go home show for the PLE. So let's just take a quick look at No Mercy 2024 and I'll just give my thoughts and predictions. NXT WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH - ROXANNE PEREZ (c) vs JAIDA PARKER Lately, Jaida Parker has been on fire since that street fight with Michin and last week she won the gauntlet to get this title match, and she deserves a lot of credit for getting here. I can see her being NXT Women's champion, but the problem is Roxanne Perez has been VERY dominant every since winning back the title earlier this year. The most likely I'd say that her title reign was looking like it would end, was probably NXT battleground against Jordyn Grace. I think it's unlikely that Jaida Parker would beat Perez for the title if even Jordyn Grace couldn't do it. HOWEVER, I don't see anyone else o...

WWE RAW 8/26/24 REVIEW

WWE RAW 8/26/24 REVIEW The Judgement Day kicks off The show starts with the Judgement Day making their entrance and they cut a promo on Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley stating that they deserved their beatdowns and that they were a long time coming. As per usual, when Dominik got the mic, the crowd boo'd him to oblivion. It too him awhile to announce that he was taking part in the intercontinental championship number 1 contenders tournament. The LWO later interrupt and Dom's father Rey cuts a promo on his son stating he's even more of an a hole. They go back and forth and eventually a brawl starts between the Judgement Day and the LWO.  JUDGEMENT DAY VS LWO 8-MAN TAG MATCH      This would lead to an 8-man tag team team match between the LWO and the Judgement Day. This is just your average 8-man tag we're used to seeing on raw but there was one amazing shot of all four members of LWO diving off all four sides and we get like an aerial view of it which looks amazi...

WWE Smackdown 8/23/24 Review

WWE SmackDown 8/23/24 Review Welcome to the first of my WWE weekly show reviews. Here I will go over the results of each show and give my thoughts on them in addition to what I think will happen later in each story line. Recap of previous show: So if you don't already watch these shows, then you should know that there is usually a small recap of a storyline. Not a recap of the whole previous show, just them showing what was the big talking point from the last episode.  The show began by showing what happened last week where Solo Sikoa, along with Toma Tonga, called out Roman Reigns and Reigns appeared and attacked both of them and stood tall with the ula fala (what makes them the tribal chief) but out from nowhere came Jacob Fatu who attacked Roman and new bloodline hit Roman with a triple powerbomb and stood over the original tribal chief to close out the show. The new bloodline would appear later on this episode. The Grayson Waller Effect w/ Cody Rhodes The first actual se...
